Before you set off on your narrowboat holiday, we will give you a full handover, explaining where everything is on the boat, how everything works and practical training covering boat handling, mooring, locks, reversing, turning and boat safety. We will spend as much time with you as you need and only let you go off on your own when you feel you are ready. All our instructors have passed the RYA Helmsmans certificate.
